TAMIL NADU PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION  ADMISSION OF STUDENTS ( BOYS AND GIRLS) TO  THE RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, DEHRADUN, JULY – 2025 TERM – EXAMINATION TO BE HELD ON 1^ST DEC 2024

The qualifying examination for admission of students (Boys and Girls) to class VIII in the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, July 2025 term, will be held on 1^st December 2024 F.N and A.N, only at selected centres in the country among which Chennai city will be one. The examination will consist of both written and viva-voce tests. The written examination will consist of three papers viz., English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The medium of examination will be in English or Hindi for the subjects Mathematics and General Knowledge. The interview will be held to test the intelligence, personality & communication skills of the candidates. The interview date will be intimated later for the candidates who qualify in the written examination. Minimum pass marks in each paper including interview will be 50%.

2. The Prospectus – cum – Application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained from “ The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin-248 003” by following methods:-

• By Demand Draft:- The Prospectus – cum – Application form and booklet of old question papers for the above said examinations can be obtained by speed post from “The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt., Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin 248003 by sending a written request with a Demand Draft to the Value of Rs.600/- for General candidates and Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with Community Certificate, drawn in favour of “THE COMMANDANT, RIMC FUND”, DRAWEE BRANCH, HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN (BANK CODE -1399) 
• On –line payment :- The Prospectus – cum – Application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by making online payment of Rs.600/- for General candidates and Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates through RIMC website – rimc.gov.in (On receipt of the payment, the prospectus-cum application and booklet of old question papers will be sent by the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun by speed post only).

Note:-

1. The address of “ THE COMMANDANT, RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, GARHI CANTT., DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND, PIN 248 003” should be typed / written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with pincode and contact number.

3. The application form and prospectus will not be supplied to the candidates from the office of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. The application forms issued by Rashtriya Indian Military College only shall be Application form locally printed / Photo copied and without RIMC Hologram (Seal) will be rejected.
4. The Rashtriya Indian Military College, will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of prospectus caused by illegible or incomplete The delay on part of postal department is not the responsibility of Rashtriya Indian Military College.
5. No refund of the application fee will be done under any condition.
6. Educational Qualification:- Those candidates seeking admission to the College should not be less than 11 1/2 years in age and should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 1^st July 2025, e. they should not be born earlier than 2^nd July 2012 and not later than 1^st Jan 2014. No relaxation of age limit will be allowed. The candidates should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognised School, at the time of admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College. i.e., on 1^st July 2025.
7. Filled-in- applications in the prescribed form in duplicate from the candidates (Boys and Girls) whose parents or guardians RESIDE IN TAMIL NADU should reach the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, Park Town, Chennai-600 003 not later than 5.45 P.M. on 30.09.2024.
