NOTICE FOR INVITING PUBLIC COMMENTS
Subject: Inviting public comments on adoption of TSDSI standard “A generic Relay architecture for 5G and Beyond” as a National standard by Telecommunications Engineering Centre (TEC) – reg.
Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has approved a policy for the adoption of domestic/ international standards into National Standards. “Standardisation Guide” – a policy document for the adoption of telecom and related ICT standards defines the process of adoption/ratification of TSDSI/international standards including institutional mechanism, process of adoption, maintenance of standards, numbering plan, stakeholder consultation etc. The Standardisation Guide can be accessed at https:/ /tec.gov.in / standards-adoption-policy.
2. Telecom Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC) – a Standing apex committee under the chairmanship of DDG (Standardisation), TEC, has decided to initiate the process of adoption of TSDSI standard TSDSI STD 5002 V1.0.0 “A generic Relay architecture for 5G and Beyond” as a National standard.
3. As a next step in adoption process, all stakeholders are requested to offer their comments on the above mentioned standard TSDSI STD 5002 V1.0.0. The details in this regard are as given below:-

It may be kept into consideration while offering the comments that only technical content or the amendments affecting the technical content of standard shall be open for public comments, as per para 6.2.4 of the Standardisation Guide.
