Victory to Lord Ganesha and Parvati’s son, the root of all auspiciousness and wisdom.
Ayodhyadas calls upon you, please grant fearlessness as your boon.
Victory to Lord Shiva, consort of Goddess Parvati, who is compassionate to the humble.
He is always the protector of saints and devotees.
His forehead shines with the crescent moon,
And his ears are adorned with serpent earrings.
Ganga flows from his matted hair,
He wears a garland of skulls and covers himself with ashes.
He is draped in a tiger skin,
And his divine form captivates sages and seers.
Shiva, being the darling daughter of Maina,
Appears graceful on his left side.
His powerful form holding a trident is awe-inspiring,
And he destroys enemies instantly.
Lord Nandi and Ganesha stand at his side,
Like lotuses in the middle of the ocean.
Lord Kartikeya and Ganesha are with him,
Their beauty is beyond description.
When the gods call upon him in distress,
He immediately relieves them of their pain.
He sent Lord Kartikeya to vanquish the demon Taraka,
Who was killed in an instant.
You destroyed the demon Jalandhara,
And saved the world from suffering.
The mighty demon Tripura was also slain by you,
And you showered your grace on all.
The entire world is happy and free from fear,
By worshipping you, they attain all pleasures.
By reciting your name, even Lord Rama invoked you,
As only with your grace could he cross the ocean.
Even an unworthy son receives his father’s love,
So how can one who remembers you in their heart be denied?
Please do not be distressed by worldly matters,
Instead, find joy in the company of saints.
Lord Vishnu and Brahma praise you,
And those who serve you are blessed with peace.
Narada, the great sage, offers his prayers to you,
And all gods and sages seek your blessings.
By your grace, all beings are content,
And you are the giver of joy and liberation to all.
