Subject:- Revision of pension of Pre-01.01.2006 retiree Havildar granted Hony Rank of Naib Subedar.
Sir,
I am directed to refer this Ministry’s letter No. 1(13)/2016/D(Pen/Policy) dated 21.02.2020 according to which the provision of GoI, MoD letter No. 1(8)/2008-D(Pen/Policy) dated 12.06.2009 has been extended w.e.f 01.01.2006 to Pre-2006 retiree Havildars who were granted Hony Naib Subedars.
2. In this regard it is clarified that the provision of MoD letter dated 21.02.2020 will also apply to Family Pensioners of retiree Havildars who were granted Hony rank of Naib Subedar.
3. All others term and conditions remain unchanged.
4. This issues with the concurrence of MoD(Fin/Pen) ID No.10(06)/2012//Fin/Pen dated 15.07.2024.
