EMRS 2025 Recruitment 7267 Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs Open

National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), an autonomous organization established under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, invites online application from eligible and interested Indian Citizens for recruitment on Direct basis to the posts of Principal, Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, Hostel Warden (Male and Female), Female Staff Nurse, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Lab Attendant.

In addition to normal teaching duties, the teachers are required to perform responsibilities attached with residential system of schooling like House Mastership, remedial and supervisory studies, organization of co-curricular activities, escorting of students on official purposes and looking after students’ welfare in general. During the period of probation of the incumbent, performance in all these areas will also be assessed, in addition to the teaching ability to determine suitability for the job.

In respect of non-teaching staff, they are required to perform residential duties.

All the staff in EMRSs are eligible for special pay @ 10% of the basic pay.

In view of the admission policy that girls and boys are admitted in the ratio of 1:1 in EMRS, efforts will be made to post male and female teachers as per the approved policy of NESTS i.e., minimum of 20% and maximum of 60% female staff in each EMRS and as per the administrative need of EMRSs subject to the condition that they fulfill the normal eligibility conditions. However, there is no separate reservation for Female Teachers to this effect.

The candidates may be posted anywhere in India on initial posting on selection and request for change of station/region will not be entertained under any circumstances whatsoever.

Objectives of EMRS

Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are established with the objective of providing quality education from Class VI to XII students belonging to ST category. These schools are set up at block level as residential schools and have separate hostels for boys and girls, accommodation for staff, mess facility, playground and all other amenities. EMRSs, being fully residential institutions, teaching and non-teaching staff are required to stay on campus for which rent free accommodation as available will be provided.
