Maiya Samman Yojana is an important scheme launched to empower women economically and socially. Under this scheme, financial assistance and other benefits are provided to eligible women by the government. The aim of the scheme is to make women self-reliant and improve their standard of living. To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for interested women to fill the prescribed Maiya Samman Yojana form.

In this form, the woman’s personal information, bank account details and required documents have to be given. After filling the form correctly, it has to be submitted to the concerned department, after which the beneficiary is given the benefit of the scheme. This scheme is especially for those women who are financially weak and who need additional support.

Eligibility of Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana

• The benefit of this scheme will be available only to women who are permanent residents of Jharkhand state.
• The age of the woman should not be less than 21 years and not more than 50 years.
• Not being an income tax payee
• The woman must have an Aadhaar card and identity card.
• Not being retired or employed by the government or in public sector undertakings.
• Not receiving Family Pension
